Mission: We aim to create and foster a community of people who live in the United States of America, to provide for all of those people within the community and reduce the groups reliance on the Corporate and Governmental Structures that exist in the United States.
What is American: Our movement focuses on the land currently governed by the United States of America. Our focus is on the people who reside here and the injustices done to those people by the dominating political institutions that govern this land.
What is Socialism: Socialism, in our view, is both an economic and political system. Politically this means a governmental body that aims to provide and protect its citizenry with certain liberties ensured through public services such as healthcare, childcare, food access, and shelter. Economically it seeks to avoid exploitation of the working class by means of cooperative business structures that returns the fullness of the laborers value to the laborer without instituting a planned economy in all economic sectors.
What is a Cooperative: A cooperative is a group of people who share in ownership over a pool of goods, services and property. The governance of which is controlled democratically, exercised through votes from each member of the Cooperative.
